Reasons I have to return to South Africa (Part 1)

5. AFRIKAANS–although I managed to pick up some isiZulu while here in South Africa, I learned next to no Afrikaans. Shame on me.

4. RUGBY–because of the World Cup, all rugby (with the exception of three Springboks matches) was suspended, including practices. Made it to one of the first resumed practices tonight, but I won’t get to see a game.

3. MORNING PRAYERS–the hospital Sisters greet every morning with a group prayer, an absolutely joyous musical celebration.

Stay tuned for reasons 1 and 2!!
